A Message to the Messianic

Messy-antics?

Although we have come into a better understanding of the truth of Scripture, we still have not found a way to be Echad. Why is that? Could it be that we are still more interested in our beliefs than the Elohim in which our beliefs reside? Why, even within our congregations, do we still see the Jews and non-Jews as separate people? We have the same beliefs, yet we continue to treat each other differently. Is this pleasing in the site of El Shaddai?

Instead of focusing on our differences, I believe it is time to focus on our common belief in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Does it matter to HaShem how we were raised as long as we are now following His Torah? I don’t think it does. It seems to me that He is more interested in our hearts than our lineage. Shouldn’t that be our focus as well?

As a group, we have the hope of being the vehicle used by HaShem to bring back together all of His people, whether Jew or Christian, yet we are so busy fighting amongst ourselves that we couldn’t possibly be used by Him for that purpose. Brethren, this should not be so! I’m not saying that we all need to sit under the same teacher or worship in the very same manner (impossible without the Temple anyway!) but what I am saying is that we need to treat each other as brothers, not the enemy. We have an enemy, and he is really enjoying our bad behavior.

We all agree that the end of days is fast approaching and that we need to get back to following Torah. We cannot be held responsible for another’s walk, only our own. We are held responsible for how we treat one another, though. Are we really acting in love toward other Messianics out there when we refuse to fellowship with them simply because they do not live out their faith in the exact same manner as we do?

It’s time to stop behaving badly and start behaving in a godly manner. It’s time to stop judging one another’s walk. It’s time to focus on Adonai El Shaddai and our Messiah, even if we don’t all agree on how to spell His name or whether Messiah is deity or not. It’s time to show the world that we are Echad in the Spirit of God.

It’s Time!!
