Rosh HaShanah
The Jewish sages teach that Messiah will come on Rosh Hashanah. After that, we will have 10 days to repent before Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) and the Judgment Seat of God. When we hear the sound of the shofar, we are reminded that judgment is coming and we’d better be ready. Are we ready? Can we stand in front of a Holy and Righteous God? Will we hear: “Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.” Matthew 25:21 (23)
Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Revelation 22:14 Rosh Hashanah is the Trumpet call to wash our robes and make them clean so that we can stand before our Bridegroom, as the Bride He deserves. In celebrating this feast day, we not are not only standing firmly with Adonai, but we are preparing for the days ahead, when lawlessness takes over and His judgment comes. The Day of Blowing Trumpets (Yom Teruah) is a very special day because our God (Elohim) Himself told us to observe it and in observing it, we have a better understanding of the end times. If we want to be a part of the in-gathering (rapture) we need to do what it takes to be a part of that group. What does it take?
But if you return to Me and keep My commandments and do them, though those of you who have been scattered were in the most remote part of the heavens, I will gather them from there and will bring them to the place where I have chosen to cause My name to dwell.’ Nehemiah 1:9
The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” (Rev 22:17) We have been invited to the best wedding in the history of this world; will we be ready when the Bridegroom arrives? When He does, will He find us ready to accompany Him, or will we be like the foolish virgins who missed Him? Is this really just a Jewish holiday?
Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. 1 Corinthians 15:51-53
Isn’t this same blast that we’ve been longing to hear? Yeshua (Jesus) is coming soon… are we ready?
And he *said to me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy.”
“Behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to render to every man according to what he has done. I am the Aleph and the Tav, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter by the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.
“I, Yeshua, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.” The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes take the water of life without cost.
I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.
He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Adonai Yeshua. The grace of the Adonai Yeshua be with all. Amen. Revelation 22:10-21
